In a desperate search of tool to handle personal documents stored on my server, two years before, I could not find application that satisfies me: either summary or not user-friendly, sometimes bugged, or even pay. So I decided at that time to start coding my little script, taking advantage at the same time to complete my apprenticeship and deepen my knowledge in the Web languages (such as PHP Ajax, XML, etc.).

WebShare, which was at the beginning a simple static web gallery, has gradually become a complete file manager (or almost!). Designed almost exclusively with a text editor, after months of hard work, the application is finally launched in May 2007 and continues to evolve since, approaching the ultimate goal: presenting a practice and attractive webFTP manager, offering features of sharing and collaborative work quite useful.

The project is far from being finished, it is just starting : Many options will be developed, such as the multiple selection of files, communication with other dynamic applications, maximum accessibility, bookmarks management, log files history, etc ...
